Tires degrade over time — but how you store them off-season dramatically affects their lifespan. Poorly stored tires can develop flat spots, sidewall cracking, bead-seal damage, and rubber deterioration in 6–12 months. Proper storage extends tire life by years.

- •Storage in direct sunlight or UV-exposed areas — UV hardens rubber, kills lifespan

Our storage — what's included
Our tire storage facility is designed specifically for off-season tire preservation. What you get with the per-season rate fee:
- •Clean, dry facility — climate-stable, not exposed to direct sunlight
- •Photographic documentation at drop-off — every tire, every rim, every visible defect noted
- •Tagged with your name, vehicle, phone number, and storage period
- •Stored on elevated racks — off concrete, correct orientation
- •Mounted tires stored upright, unmounted tires stored flat (correct way for each)
- •Rim protection — wheels wrapped or bagged to prevent scratching
- •Security — limited access facility with inventory tracking
- •Pickup included when you return for seasonal swap — no extra fee
The storage + swap bundle — most efficient option
Most of our tire storage customers bundle storage with the seasonal swap:
- •Fall: You come in for winter tire install. We install winters, take summers back to storage. Call for current rates.
- •Spring: You come in for summer tire install. We install summers (brought from storage), take winters back. Call for current rates.
- •You never transport tires yourself
- •Two visits per year, always at our shop
- •Total annual cost: storage rate plus seasonal swap fees
- •Compare to: buying a condo parking space to store tires ($50,000+), or buying a second set of rims ($800–$1,500 one-time)

Pre-payment not required — we invoice when you pick up your tires for seasonal swap. No deposit to book a storage slot.
Frequently asked questions
How do I reserve a storage slot?
Call 416-259-6565 and tell us you'd like seasonal storage. We take your name, phone, vehicle, and timeframe. No deposit. Drop the tires off any weekday 9 AM – 5 PM, we inspect and photograph them at drop-off, you leave.
What if my stored tires are damaged when I pick them up?
Our photograph-at-drop-off policy means we have documented the condition when you left them. If damage occurred during storage (very rare — our facility is climate-stable), we replace or compensate. In 15 years, we've had zero storage-damage claims we couldn't cover.
Can I store tires longer than one season?
Yes — annual rate available, or seasonal rate ongoing if you lose access to your vehicle (e.g., deployed, health issue, selling car later). Just keep us informed.
Do I need to tell you the tire brand and size?
Not required — we measure and photograph everything at drop-off. Bringing your own documentation (brand, size, DOT date codes) speeds up drop-off and gives you an extra record.
Do you store tires that aren't from AllCars?
Yes — we store tires regardless of where you bought them. Install services are also available at walk-in prices if you need mounting, balancing, or alignment added.
Can I pick up my tires between seasons?
Yes — call 24 hours ahead and we'll retrieve them from storage. You can come during business hours. If you pick up and decide not to bring them back, storage period ends (no unused-time refund, but also no further charge).
Is there a limit to how many sets you can store?
We have capacity for 200+ sets at peak winter. During peak weeks (early November, mid-April), we recommend booking 3–4 weeks ahead. Off-peak, we can usually accept drop-offs same-day.
